Hello everyone!
Hope you are all having a grand time in the sun:)
The school garden is sure loving the sun and growing a lot but the heat also means, that watering deeply (preferably in the morning or evening when it's less hot) every two days is required.
We had some fabulous parent volunteers that covered this need in July but now have a need for any available hands till the last week of August when another fabulous mom has already committed to the task.
All of us who normally would love to help out are currently out of town on trips.
Are you in town for some time in the near future? Would you be willing to take your kids to play at the school playground while you water the garden? The kids often want to help with this because watering is fun:)
The access to water is easy. The hose key tool and the garden shed tool are both stored in a mailbox of a house right by the school (you will be given details when you e-mail us).
All you need to do to start watering is to unlock the tool shed, find the watering spray nozzle and attach it to the hose that is already stretched into the garden. Then turn the faucet with the hose key tool and you are ready to water!
