Our family had the pleasure of hosting 2 of Julia Common's 73 hives this year.
See her (under construction) website:

The hives were amazingly productive and Julia has already collected the first honey from them. The honey is sold to support Julia's efforts to help the bees survive with the challenges humans have brought to them and also to fund her beekeeping teaching projects on the Downtown East Side.
Our garden is located on Adanac and Penticton and so if you live close to us, you can get a truly local honey. I am currently collecting expressions of interest, as it will be a few more weeks before the honey is ready to be sold.
Feel free to visit us and talk to us or e-mail me at jana.ronne@gmail.com.
